Tiffany Sauder: Ready or not? It is summer everyone. If you have school-aged kids, no doubt you are in this process of transitioning from, uh, school routine to a kids at home routine or kids in camp routine, or a combination of kids at home and kids at camp. Uh, if your house looks like mine and, transition always takes more energy for me.
Just like the microprocessing required to make sure everybody's going to where they're supposed to be, takes more energy. So, I thought I had my summer sitter all lined up and a couple days before summer, they shared with me that was not gonna be their plan anymore to be in our home.
So we are threading the needle and I'm leaning hard on my community, my friends, my. Mom, my in-laws, my, everybody. So, um, thanks to my tribe. If you're listening, you're helping us pull this summer off and we are gonna work to have as much fun as possible and also get our work done. So your summer feels a little like that.
I'm right there along with you and has like an extra treat. my baby was sick all week, which is fine. that happens for sure, but you just kind of wanna be able to push pause and. Snuggle up on the couch with them, and that's not what it looks like right now. So, welcome to Summer everyone.
I hope you have something planned that you're looking forward to and that you are sneaking away for just little bits of the summer experience. Summer sunshine. You know, poolside pizza, all the things that just feel a break and routine I think is good for us as adults too. speaking of breaks and routine, I'll use that as my segue.
We are going to be changing up the feed a little bit here. In the next three weeks, there's gonna be two podcast, episodes a week that drop for the next three weeks, and Kyler Mason is gonna be doing a takeover on the feed. So if you are not familiar with that name, Kyler is the president of Element three, July 1st,of 2022, it was, formally announced. He's been doing an amazing job leading the organization and I asked him if he would jump on the microphone and share his journey of becoming a leader. But specifically, I've talked about how fear has played such a big part in my own head game and belief and understanding about what I could get out of life.
And Kyler has had, I would say a pretty real battle with anxiety and, had a choice to make in his journey about whether or not his anxiety was going to be the thing that determined the outcomes in his life or if he was going to. So in a very brave way, Kyler's jumped on the microphone.
Jillian, our producers, walked him through some questions and Kyler's gonna be sharing. Really vulnerably his, his journey and like my journey with fear, like your journey with your thing. it is not like a neat bow at the end. It's still something that, he wrestles with, but is getting more tools and, I know that his story, I know his experiences.
I know his bravery and facing this is gonna inspire you, or somebody in your life. So each week Kyler will have an episode that drops and then I also will have a solo show that drops that same week. Or I do some reflection on, some of Kyler's journey, but also just, some things I think kind of support the overall story.
So that's gonna be happening the next three weeks. you might be like, okay, why are you doing this? well, when I went through my fear journey, my fear statement, the thing that I most want my life to do, my fear statement is I am for others.
So whenever fear tries to tell me like, why would you have all these big dreams? Why are you going after all this stuff? People are gonna make fun of you. You should just be happy. you have enough already. you're not that special. that's the stuff that fear can say to me over and over again.
And then I start to believe that the way I shut fear up is to say no. The reason I wanna do all those things is because I. The more I know, the more I can help people, the more I've been exposed to, the more I can help people grow. Like really sincerely, the cry in my heart is to be better for the people around me.
And so this fear statement of I am for others is talked in my pocket that I carry around with me all the time and it's away I get my fear talk track to go away. So this is one way that I'm exercising. I am for others is my experience, is my experience. I am a data point of one, and so I wanna bring those people.
That I admire, that I have seen grow, that inspire me to go to the next level and have them share their stories with you, not just while I interview them, but primarily like on the microphone. So, Kyler's up next, and I know that you're gonna get a lot out of.
His discussion, as best he can share with you his journey with anxiety. Thanks for listening in over the next few weeks. I hope you're crushing your summer.
I'll talk to you soon.
