What is something that you learned and wish you could show or teach others? I'm your host, Tiffany Sauder. And this is Scared Confident. There's so much that I, I have learned over the last 12 months, I'm on this scared confident journey. And in going through the fear journey and sitting down with Nathaniel McGuire in the fear interview, the thing.
Change my perspective forever is this idea that I am not my fear. That that fear is a thing that is separate from my person, separate from my identity. And I get to choose whether or not it can take residence in my mind. And if I choose that it can't that it really doesn't have a place to live, but that fear is not me.
It's not who I am. It's not my character. It's not innately part of my DNA. It's a thing that my mind allows to live inside of it. Or as I learn to get a mastery of my fear and to chase it away and to get control over it and to replace it with the thoughts that are really about who I am. That fear suddenly dries up.
